Darnell Bearing Company refurbishes and manufactures many different types of bearings for motors, pumps, and turbines. We use a spin-cast method with new virgin grade 2 Babbitt material. Upon arrival, we make a complete inspection and analysis to be recorded and attached to the finished product. Then we machine the bearing shell with a dove tail system and spin cast new material into the shell. Ultrasonic inspection is performed by an independent contractor.
