Almost all of the many sandies
we've caught this year on Palestine have been on Humdingers, mostly the white w/
silver flake in 3/4 or 5/8 oz. Scored me a few good hybrids as well. It's become
one of my favorites---IMO better than any of the other tailspinner-type lures
I've seen.

Used Minnerdunker's [Leroy's
handle on the TFF
is Minnerdunkler] lure Friday and Saturday morning on Cedar Creek with
exceptional results. Caught sandies and hybrids with ease. Even caught two 7 1/2
lb hybrids within 5 minutes of one another.

Here are two limits of Sand Bass caught at
Benbrook Lake 4/8/05, [picture in the CATCH PHOTOS section] there were several
more caught and released. All of my limit was caught on a Super Humdinger /
white w/glitter 3/4oz.
Had a great time and a lot of luck with the
lure.

Leroy,
Thought you might like to know how my maiden voyage
with your lures went. I went to a spot that I have been to many times due to
the fish finder always being very active in this area. Only problem is I have
never been able to get a bite there. I got your humdinger lure ready to go
and was in the process of letting it lower to the bottom. That is when I had
a problem. The fish would not let it get to the bottom. I reeled in 20
sandbass in about 15 minutes. I just wish I had more time that day. My dad
will be placing a order soon after I told him how it went. Thanks for a good
quality lure. - Jason Redden

We had an excellent day fishing with your baits last week.
My customers had there limit of 50 big white bass with very
fast action using Humdingers. Since I have been using your
baits I find myself tying one
on
before any other bait. It has become our bait of choice on my
boat for white bass. When I take people white bass fishing
they know the Humdinger name when they get off my boat. I look
forward to continued success using your baits. I have attached
a picture of our catch, use it as you see fit. Also I am in
need of more Humdiger baits. Call anytime

Went fishing this morning and boated around 200
fish! All caught on the Hum bug! Cleaned 125 and the guys were
still bringing them in as I cleaned fish. This new lure works
good slabbing, and on a slow retrieve through schooling sandies.
EM was the lake and we caught them as deep as 24 ft and as
shallow as 8 ft. Thanks again Humdinger for two great lures! -

Just thought I'd let you
know how the Humdinger is doing in Iowa. I spent the last 22
years in Texas and the Humdinger was the best White Bass/Hybrid
lure I have tried to date. I just moved back to Iowa (my home
state) and thought I would see what the fishing was like here
in Iowa City since it's been so long. I went down below the dam
and noticed people were catching white bass on jigs. Well since
the dam is very close to where I live I can fish there every
morning for one hour before work (doesn't get much better for
me). So, on a Friday I tried the white jigs everyone else was
using and caught 6 fish. I guess not bad for an hour.
The following Monday I thought I'd try again but it seemed slow
for the first 40 minutes (3 fish) so I changed to the white 3/8
oz Humdinger. Caught 21 whites in the next 20 minutes. Awesome
right? It only gets better for me.
I have gone fishing 4 days this week for a total of 4 hours and
here are the white bass numbers for the humdinger on each day:
Monday 21
Tuesday 23
Thursday 34 Also one 10lb Buffalo
Friday 60 I had one guy offer to buy my lure on Friday
morning :))
Anyway, I ordered a few more today since I have a feeling my
stock will slowly dwindle. I will tell as many people about
your product as I can.....but maybe not exactly right away. I'd
like to catch a few myself before I have to give the secret
away :))
Thanks for the great lure,
Gary Reittinger

Leroy,
I am slaying
the fish with the Humdinger. I am out fishing the guys that go with me on an
average of 5 to 1, that is with 4 trips of using the Super Humdinger. To date I have
caught crappie, blue catfish, channel catfish, drum, sand bass and hybrids on
the Super Humdinger, needless to say, I keep one rod in my rod box on the boat
with a Super Humdinger tied on !
It has been a
blast fishing them. I can jig them, slow roll or just chunk and wind :) I can
match what the fish want without having to change lures, not many products can
make that claim. Gotta love it !
Thanks,
Danny

Thanks for your fast response in filling my
recent order of two dozen lures they are well made, cast easily and can really
catch the white bass/hybrids at Lake Tawakoni. Last Wednesday evening- my wife
and I caught 48 all on the humdinger as they worked the shad near the dam.
Thanks for making a quality lure- shipping promptly and accepting a check as
a method of payment!

Leroy,
Had my first good day for the year yesterday. I caught 22 of the 35 pictured.
Kurt caught the rest. All 35 were caught on humdingers. I gave away two of those
white/chartreuse supers you gave me yesterday on the lake! The guys left saying
"I'm gonna go home and order me some!". I got a kick out of listening to them
talk about the baits. They didn't have the rods to make the long cast to where
the fish were, but I'm confident they will catch fish on them soon!

and I went Sunday and caught another 25......There is no doubt these
Humdingers catch fish.

I just wanted to send you another
photo of some more Sand Bass that were caught at Benbrook Lake during a TFF -
Sand Bass tournament. Myself ( RickyDont ) and my partner Jim had a blast
catching these fish on your lures. The other contestants averaged 5 fish per
boat where Jim and I brought in 28 Sand Bass. All of which were caught on 3/4
oz. white w/glitter Super Humdinger Lures.

I just wanted to let you know that these are by
far the best I've ever used. You sent me some demos last year from the other
forum and I wore those out so for Christmas I had my wife get me some more I'm
sure you'll remember her she was the one that came by your house and picked
them up. As for something for you web site Ill give you the whole story.
My buddy and I fished Ray Roberts on 3-20
and I was using the 3/4 ounce chartreuse humdinger while my friend and his
grandson were using rattle traps and silver slabs. I was catching fish left and
right while they were watching with amazement and they finally asked what I
was using, so I showed them and tied one on each of their lines and they
started enjoying catching fish. We ended the day with 47 and we threw back at
least 30 more. Once again THANK YOU! And I'll never run out of these lures!

I caught it [Catfish] on your 3/8 oz pearl white with glitter,
slow rolling it in about 23' of water while fishing for crappie. I was using a
5'6" crappie pole and it took about 15 minutes to bring it to the surface.
Don't know what the fish weighed, as the 50# scale bottomed out. Thanks for
letting me use your jigs. I've now caught black bass, sandbass and catfish on
the Humdinger............all while crappie fishing. I know that eventually I
will start to catch crappie.

8 lbs. 10 oz. Striper caught on Texoma, Tues.
Jan.25, 2005 on a 3/4 Oz. Humdinger (White w/Silver Glitter). This color has
produced big Sandies and Hybrids at Tawakoni, as well. I had added my own flourish to the Humdinger, I
had tied strands of 'red flash' to the rear end of the 'tail eye' as an added
attraction like 'streaks of blood' trailing from a shad. I want to think the
red flash helped.

Boom, I fished with Cajun Ride and David Lee
today on Joe Pool, we caught a few on the hellpet, went to firemans hump and
picked up a few more. I tied on a Hummdinger and caught a white bass the first
cast when slabs were not producing. I loved the lure because it is twice the weight
of Little George, the hook was far better and didn't get hung on the back. The
eyes are better too. I liked the way it sunk and it was castable and
slabbable. I'm very impressed and plan on ordering a bunch and not going back
to Lil George as long as these are available. I was using the silver with the
red eye. One more thing, the blade works on the slowest
retrieve unlike the George in which you have to pump to get it going.

The blade configuration is great,
I can feel it spinning while dropping it down! I used a Candy Chartreuse
in the 1/2 oz. My first trip out I caught 30 sandies on that lure. After that
trip I ordered 12 more in the larger size and various colors. The next trip out
the bite was slow on the Chartreuse and the Candy Chartreuse and I ended up
catching them on Pearl White. If you use this bait and they don't bite it, they
either aren't there or they want another color!
