Welcome to Jigum Jigs!

My name is Matthew Carroll - aka Jigum. If you are looking for hand-tied jigs, then you have come to the right place! I started tying jigs about 4 years ago. I was a minnow fisherman when it came to crappie until one day I saw some people catching them on jigs. I was so captivated by this method that I had to try it for myself. I bought some jigs and loved it.

Then, one day I thought, "I wonder if I could make a jig myself?"

I did what most people do when they want to learn how something is made - I took a bunch of them apart! I decided to use a fly-tying kit and see what would happen. Well, after trying for a while - I WAS HOOKED! I started fishing (and catching) with my jigs at area lakes. Before long, people were asking to try one and then asking where they could get them too.

That blossomed into a business and here I am today. Look around the site and I think you'll agree that I make a great jig that will produce for you. All jigs are custom, so you can tell me the color combos that work for you. You don't have to be satisfied with just what is on the shelves at the stores.
