Hey Yall: I just had my new AJ rod Custom Rewraped by TFF Member Lady Rod Builder of www.CrosstimbersCustomRods.com and now it looks too good to fish with...Museum Quality! She also got me a full set of Stuart Rollers to replace the Turbo guides I botched on the first try.
It was my
first attempt at making my own Saltwater rod...Lets just say it's not Easy the
first go round! Mary Lou of Crosstimbers Custom Rods made it just Glow. The Penn
30TW II looks right at home on this rod... I cant wait to get a Good Fish on
this New Gem!

I have already rearranged the reels on my rods and now I need to upgrade 2
reels. hehe. I caught my only AJ on the custom rod made by you- Mary Lou!! Talk
about smooooooooooooth! All I had to do was put the reel in low speed and crank!
The rod fought the fish for me!!! Thank YOu very much Mary Lou!! Hopefully next
time I can tame some Tuna with it!! I found out When fishing 375 feet deep- a 2
speed reel makes a WORLD of difference. SO now I need a couple Tiagra 50- 2
speed reels, and of course the little lady wants her own rig. I will be
contacting you after the first of the year for some custom rods. Thank You very
